Adjustable Prosthetic Designs
Creating the right design for each user's lifestyle is important. For very active individuals, adjustable panels have shown to improve fit and function throughout the day. The panels allow for improved volume management as your leg changes throughout the day. The dial mechanism is easy to use and often eliminates the need for prosthetic socks provided that the socket is an optimal fit.

Custom Molded KAFO (Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis)
This full leg brace (KAFO) has step locking knee joints for stability during progressive knee extension. The double action ankle joints provide motion stops and/or assists as needed. The modular componentry can be adjusted as the individual improves their strength and range of motion. This is a good design for people who have muscle tightness and weakness that is expected to improve over time with physical therapy. This knee ankle foot orthosis is for long term use and custom molded around a patient's plaster mold to ensure proper fit.

Shannon Levin, CPO is certified to fit the MyoPro, a myoelectric upper extremity orthosis designed to assist those with upper limb weakness.
The MyoPro includes a lightweight elbow orthosis with a surface electromyographic sensor and a rechargeable battery. MyoPro's sEMG controlled software continuously monitors and senses, but does not stimulate, the affected user muscles. The system then filters and processes data which is sent to a motor to enable the desired motion. The process is similar to the way power steering helps a driver maneuver a car.

Orthotic Off-Loader
Clinically Shown to Off-Load the Heel by 98%
This ankle foot orthosis is biomechanically aligned to off-load the heel. Both the alignment and the Boa Dial are crucial elements in shifting pressure away from the heel during ambulation. Furthermore, the sole is attached, making it a solid device and reducing the likelihood of slipping and falling. It is lined with soft foam and has been measured with a pressure sensor to reduce heel pressure by 98%. This device allows individuals to keep walking while they progress through the stages of healing. Similar devices can be made to off-load other parts of the foot. |

Indicated for chronic conditions such as ankle instability, reducible pes planus (flat foot), early stage PTTD (posterior tibial tendon dysfunction) and mild DJD (degenerative joint disease). Designed to limit, but not completely restrict ankle and rearfoot motion. |

Prosthetic Company Sponsors New ADA Parking in Downtown Salem
10-17-14 Salem, OR:
Mobility Solutions Prosthetics and Orthotics has sponsored the addition of an ADA parking spot to a developing area of downtown Salem. The new prosthetic and orthotic clinic is located at 441 Union street NE, Salem and has the mission of helping those with functional limitations.
Shannon Levin, CPO and owner of Mobility Solutions P&O stated that, “having a central location for our clinic was really important to allow for easy access to our services, but Union street was in need of some accessibility improvements.” According to the draft recommendations of the Central Salem Mobility Study, the city of Salem has plans to further develop Union street within the next 4 to 10 years.
Mobility Solutions P&O coordinated with the city of Salem to have accessible parking added to the Union street block sooner than future plans or funding would have otherwise allowed. This additional parking spot is a benefit for clients needing to access prosthetic and orthotic services, and also improves accessibility to the north downtown central business district.
